Backup Exec monitoring

Backup Exec is a proprietary backup software currently developed by Symantec. This is a non free backup software for corporate user.

Usage

In Brief. You have to setup the monitoring service email address as the recipient of backup report and tell Backup Exec to send the mail report in text format, not HTML !

1. Configure your SMTP server and sender email address.

2. Add the monitoring service email address to your list of recipients ! You can make a try with the Test button.

3. Configure the format of the job log. Choose text !

4. In your job configuration panel, select your recipients !
